The sixth edition of the African Muzik Magazine Awards, also known as AFRIMMA, will once again rise the bar with unforgettable performances and experiences. The illustrious awards show has brought some of the top American and African names to the stage such as T-Pain, Erykah Badu, and Cynthia Bailey of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Davido, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Fally Ipupa, Diamond Platinum, Yemi Alade, Sauti Sol, and many more.

Entertainment expert, Anderson Obiagwu, founded AFRIMMA through his company Big A Entertainment. For the past 20 years, Obiagwu has been known as the largest African music promoter in North America. His work is heavily influenced by his youth and growing up in the Eastern part of Nigeria.

On Friday, October 25, the weekend will kick off with a free music industry panel discussion from 3-5 pm at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library Auditorium. AFRIMMA will host a ticketed evening fashion show from 7-10 pm at Loft Spaces. On Saturday, October 26, AFRIMMA will celebrate the beauty of African culture and music from 6-10 p.m. at The Bomb Factory.
