CycleNation™ is an American Heart Association/American Stroke Association health movement aimed at empowering the nation to use road bikes, stationary bikes and community indoor cycling classes to get healthy, and it’s coming to Dallas just in time to jump start your fall workout routine, and for a great cause.
This high-energy event is a four-person team relay, where one person cycles for an hour, and the team tackles the full four-hour ride together. Participants can either start a team, join a team or be placed on a team. Cycling strengthens heart muscles, lowers resting pulse and reduces cholesterol and recent studies suggest that physical activity, like cycling, can help maintain strong brain function, processing speeds and mental sharpness.
