eventdetail

This AIR Time features an interview with Michael Costanzi, Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) of the Dallas FBI Field office. ASAC Costanzi will be addressing the creative aspects of FBI agents’ thinking and processing of information when solving cases, how that affects their final decisions when developing a plan, as well as his current focus of white collar crime.

The film will be Catch Me If You Can (2002), directed by Steven Spielberg with Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks. The film tells the story of Frank Abagnale, Jr., who, before the age of 19, successfully forged millions of dollars’ worth of checks while posing as a Pan Am pilot, a doctor, and a legal prosecutor. He eventually served time, changed his ways, and is now a consultant for the FBI and other organizations.

AIR Time is presented by AIR (Arts Incubator of Richardson) and is underwritten in part by Erik L. and Deanna Wyse, WealthStar Advisors, and the City of Richardson Cultural Arts Commission.

This special interview with ASAC Michael Costanzi provides insight into the workings of the FBI and the skills required to serve as an FBI Special Agent.
