The Ant Colony will present Remember Me, a series of collages by Judy Clark made from 2010-2014 using re-purposed magazine, markers and sanding. The collages are essentially abstract figurative, head and shoulder compositions inspired by the idea of traditional portraiture. She used a slow and layered process of collage and sanding to bring out imaginary personalities. They are improbable, whimsical, impressionistic figures composed from instinct, dreams and memories. She spent a lot of time in the studio pondering the mysteries of experience, physiognomy and personality.

Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through August 15.
