Art Con 11 will feature more than 150 local artists who have been challenged to stretch their talents to create a piece of collectible art within 24 hours on a piece of signature Art Con 18 x 18 board. Live entertainment planned for this year (aside from the lively alumni auctioneers of course) includes:

- The Cush
- Cliffs of Insanity
- Blue, The Misfit DJ Set
Art Con is Art Conspiracy’s signature event that began in 2005. Combining the forces of creativity and philanthropy, it sets out to create public awareness for the arts and to bring artists and musicians together — to “conspire” for the benefit of the local arts scene. Since Art Conspiracy began operation, it has raised close to $300,000 for small programs that provide arts and music programming in North Texas, including Musical Angels, La Reunion, W.T. White Ceramics Program, Girls Rock Dallas, My Possibilities, and Preservation Link.
Completed works will be presented for live auction starting at $20, raising money for this year’s beneficiary, Make Art with Purpose (MAP).
