Art on Main will present "Women in Art: A Joyful Journey Exhibition." The work in the exhibition mirrors the artists interpretation of joy, creativity and color, in mediums including paintings, drawings, photography, ceramics, and sculpture.
Artists were asked to reflect on stories, life journeys, or experiences in their lives, imaginative or dreamlike. Something that evokes brilliant color, powerful energy and/or joyful memories.
The exhibit highlights a group of diverse women artists, who are either early or emerging, with a place to exhibit their artwork, the opportunity to have a visual voice and be part of a collective artistic community of empowerment in this exhibition.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on view through May 24.
