Artists for Animals presents their next multi-media concert, featuring photographer Teresa Berg and Erin Hannigan, principal oboe for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, who co-founded Artists for Animals. Channel 8 meteorologist Colleen Coyle will host the multi-media charity concert.
During the concert, Hannigan and musicians from Dallas Symphony Orchestra and Southern Methodist University will play a classical music score to complement dog and cat photography and videography by Berg and other artists. Wine, desserts, and coffee are served during intermission and immediately following the concert. The result is an upbeat, playful concert experience that celebrates the beauty of rescued pets.
Throughout the year, Artists for Animals takes adoptable rescue animals to Booker T. Washington to model for the talented young illustrators. The students proudly donate their artwork to the Artists for Animals silent auction.
