From celebrated English actor Cary Elwes, who played the dashing hero Westley in The Princess Bride and the title role in Robin Hood: Men in Tights, comes the New York Times bestselling book As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales from the Making of The Princess Bride. It offers a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the cult classic film, filled with never-before-told stories, exclusive photographs, and interviews with costars Robin Wright, Wallace Shawn, Billy Crystal, Christopher Guest, and Mandy Patinkin, as well as author and screenwriter William Goldman and director Rob Reiner. The book also includes a limited-edition poster by acclaimed artist Shepard Fairey.

The Princess Bride has been a family favorite for close to three decades. Elwes was inspired to share his memories and give fans an unprecedented look into the creation of the film while participating in the 25th anniversary cast reunion.

VIP Experience includes priority seating for the conversation and book signing access, a hardcover book, and a wine and hors d’oeuvres reception with Cary Elwes from 6:15-7:00 pm in the Founders Room.

There will be a screening of The Princess Bride prior to the conversation. A book signing of As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales from the Making of The Princess Bride will follow the conversation.
