Tim Federle’s own adventures on Broadway inspired his debut novel for kids, Better Nate than Ever, which follows Nate Foster, who has wanted to star in a Broadway show his whole life as he plans a daring overnight escape to New York City. His newest book, Five, Six, Seven, Nate!, picks up where his first book leaves off, with Nate starting rehearsals for “E.T.: The Musical.”
