Tom Angleberger is an artist-turned-writer known for his explosively popular Origami Yoda series. The story follows sixth grader Dwight, who creates an origami finger puppet of Star Wars Jedi Master Yoda, which then comes to life and gives him advice that always seems to work (and may even predict the future). The fifth book in the series, Princess Labelmaker to the Rescue, will be released this March and will continue with the war against the Dark Standardized Testing Forces.

Tom Angleberger's presentation is part of the Arts + Science Festival, which is the culmination of Arts Week in Dallas. The Dallas Museum of Art will be hosting the festival and partnering with the Perot Museum of Nature and Science.

A book signing will follow the event.
