Aspire will celebrate the eighth annual Toast to Literacy as a virtual event. This year’s event is a celebration of the July 2020 merger between Literacy Instruction for Texas and the Aberg Center for Literacy. The merger created a new organization - Aspire - that offers literacy and workforce education on a cradle-to-career continuum.
Aspire’s mission is to create confident, capable individuals who value learning programs - from early childhood to adults pursuing careers - as a gateway to a better life.
Honorary chairs are Susan and Peter Aberg and Joyce and Charles Collie. Event Chairs are Kim and Maury Purnell and Sarah Lopano and James Plantes. The event will include a silent auction.
