Assassination and Commemoration: A Conversation with Stephen Fagin, Conover Hunt and Lindalyn Adams

eventdetail
Sixth Floor Museum

The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza will commemorate what would have been President John F. Kennedy’s 96th birthday by hosting a conversation between Stephen Fagin, associate curator at The Sixth Floor Museum, and the Museum’s two key founders, historian Conover Hunt and preservation activist Lindalyn Adams. The special program marks the publication of Fagin’s new book, Assassination and Commemoration: JFK, Dallas, and The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, which traces the history and development of the Museum.

Speaking publicly at the Museum for the first time, Adams and Hunt will discuss the decade they spent making The Sixth Floor exhibition a reality while helping a community confront its darkest tragedy. A book signing will follow. The program is free but tickets are required. Limit four tickets per person. Seating is limited. Assassination and Commemoration: JFK, Dallas, and The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza will be available for purchase beginning May 24 exclusively at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza until its nationwide release in July 2013.
