AT&T Performing Arts Center will present its Annual Brass and Jazz in the Park. This year’s event will celebrate "Sistahs of Jazz" and will focus on the contributions women of color have given to the vernacular and history of Jazz.
The community event will feature different genres of Jazz music and dance, New Orleans Brass, Black Mardi Gras Indians, Louisiana cuisine, family art activities, and a New Orleans Second Line.
The event will also feature the Brass and Jazz Market. The market will be a diverse hub for BIPOC vendors, artists, and artisans, and a harmonious fusion of culture and creativity.
Performers will include Michelle N. Gibson, New Orleans Grand Marshal, Jazzmeia Horn, Breggett Rideau, The Original Pinettes Brass Band, Wild Apache Black Mardi Gras Indians, Audra Scott, Mahogany The Artist, and more.
