Marking the 20th anniversary of the release of Itzhak Perlman's album, In the Fiddler’s House, this concert will highlight the collection of traditional klezmer music. Undeniably the reigning virtuoso of the violin, Perlman enjoys superstar status rarely afforded a classical musician. Joining Perlman will be members of the original recording and other special guests.

Perlman has been recognized throughout his lifetime for his innumerable accomplishments, including, in 2008, the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award for excellence in the recording arts, and in 2003, the Kennedy Center Honor in celebration of his distinguished contributions to the cultural and educational life of the United States.
