AT&T Performing Arts Center will present Summer Dance Socials - Two Step. For the first hour, the world-class dance instructors from Studio 22 will teach a different style of ballroom dancing. This is the perfect opportunity to take a midweek break with friends, or date night, and grab a drink or two and let loose on the dance floor.
The event will feature current World Champions, Country Two-Step instructors Bobby Pritchard & Carla Romine. Two Step is a smooth, progressive style danced in dance frame, and is characterized by weaved patterns and rhythm accents that separate the quicks and slows, emphasizing slows. The basic pattern is two short walking steps ("quick-quick") followed by two longer walking steps ("slow-slow").
