The Authors Live series will present C. J. Chivers, who will talk about his novel, The Fighters: Americans in Combat in Afghanistan and Iraq. Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist C. J. Chivers vividly conveys the human side of two wars, told with the empathy and understanding of an author who is himself an infantry veteran.

The 7 pm event is free and open to the public. A 6 pm reception, by reservation only, is $30 per person and includes a copy of the book.
