The Authors Live series will present Chris Whipple, who will talk about his new novel, The Gatekeepers: How the White House Chiefs of Staff Define Every Presidency. This book is the first in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at how the American Presidency has hinged on the effectiveness of the White House Chiefs of Staff, based on candid conversations with all 17 living Chiefs.

The 7 pm event is free and open to the public. A 6 pm reception, by reservation only, is $30 per person and includes a copy of the book.
