Friends of the Highland Park Public Library and Friends of the SMU Library will present Authors Live!: Lynn Sherr. Sherr was the ABC reporter who covered NASA during its transformation from a test-pilot boys' club to a more inclusive elite.

Her new book, Sally Ride: America's First Woman In Space, is the definitive biography of Ride with exclusive insights from family and closest friends. Making history as the first American woman in space and a member of the first astronaut class to include women, Ride cracked the celestial ceiling and inspired several generations of women.
