Ballet Ensemble of Texas is ushering in the holiday season with its 22nd annual production of The Nutcracker. American Ballet Theatre’s Patrick Frenette will perform the role of Sugar Plum Cavalier.
Thom Clower joined Ballet Ensemble of Texas as artistic director in August 2018. Clower’s career spans more than 40 years as a professional dancer and master teacher, including 11 seasons with Dallas Ballet. Clower also is bringing back choreography for Arabian and Mirliton variations that hasn’t been presented in Dallas in 20 years, and new choreography for the Russian dancers.
