Audiences can discover the magic of ballet through My First Classic, a community project dedicated to sharing timeless tales with audiences across Dallas-Fort Worth. Under the guidance of Cindy Michaels, Assistant Artistic Director of BNT, the immersive performance extends beyond the stage, inviting guests to delve into the magic through narrations, interactive ballet pantomime and dance lessons, ballet demonstrations, and Q&A sessions.

The romantic fairy tale classic Sleeping Beauty explores the eternal struggle between forces of good and evil, as the curse inflicted upon Princess Aurora by the malevolent fairy Carabosse is transformed by the selfless gift of the Lilac Fairy and the promise of true love's kiss from a noble Prince.
