Austin group The Band of Heathens have spent the last seven years or so putting their stamp on the Texas Americana scene, earning legions of fans as much for their live albums as for their studio ones. They haven't released any new material since 2011, but a new album is expected later this year. Shinyribs, aka Kevin Russell of The Gourds, will serve as opening act.
