Andrea Rosenberg’s solo exhibition, New Drawings, takes as a point of departure her oft-produced drawings of abstracted flowers infused with anthropomorphic qualities. In this round, we see her work with pencil and water-base paints in vibrant colors that stray from a natural palette, taking these abstracted life forms settings beyond their known boundaries. Her work is in the permanent collection of the Dallas Museum of Art, the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, as well as many other public and private institutions.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through December 5.
