Barry Whistler Gallery will present the opening reception for "Drawings," a solo exhibition featuring works by gallery artist Andrea Rosenberg.
In the exhibition, Rosenberg presents her iconic floral abstractions with a recognized twist. Over half of the featured works on paper will be presented in a tondo format; a first for the Dallas-based artist. The departure from the traditional rectangular format provides an alternative entry point for understanding Rosenberg’s hand. The suggested portals make for a viewing experience in which gestural compositions can be further realized as subconscious representation of flora.
The exhibition will be on display through January 14, 2023.
