5Years embraces Artistic Director Kimi Nikaidoh’s motto, “Onward, upward, and outward.” BWDP moves onward with Bruce Wood’s Liturgy; upward with Nikaidoh’s world premiere, Find Me; and outward with Bryan Arias’ world premiere, currently untitled.
Liturgy premiered on July 9, 2005 at Bass Performance Hall in honor of the 10th birthday of the Bruce Wood Dance Company. Liturgy is set to five sections of J.S. Bach’s B Minor Mass for chorus and orchestra.
