Cara Mia Theatre Company will present the opening night of Latinidades. The festival kicks off with an outdoor theater performance, live cumbia, free food, and more.

Featured performances include Fuego Nuevo, directed by Jeffrey Colangelo (Cara Mía Theatre ensemble member and artistic director of Prism Movement Theater) in the main plaza featuring mask performances, puppets, and live music and danza by Aztec dance group Mitotiliztli Yaoyollohtli (Heart of a Warrior), a display of Mexican masks from the state of Chiapas for sale in the lobby from Mercado369, a short film about Cara Mía Theatre in the Dairy Oak Farms Performance Hall, a demonstration of the new Multiform Black Box Theatre, and live cumbia by Papi Chulo in the new Courtyard.
