The Superhero Run is a USATF-certified 5K and 1-mile fun run benefiting CASA of Tarrant County. Participants are encouraged to wear superhero costumes to symbolize the role the CASA volunteers play in the lives of abused and neglected children. Activities include live entertainment, a Puppy Power Pavilion, a KaPow! Kids Zone, shopping and food, and human/canine costume contests.
Participants can run or walk in teams or as individuals. Participants are also asked to solicit donations in support of their efforts. Last year, the event raised $50,000 to benefit the mission of CASA of Tarrant County.
