The annual Castle Hills 4th of July Freedom Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary with a day of family-friendly activities, music, food trucks, and a stunning fireworks display.
This year’s Freedom Festival will feature Texas’ largest inflatable maze, a giant inflatable obstacle course, 20-foot water slides, train rides, a bubble station, carnival games and prizes, as well as face painters, balloon artists, and a caricature artist. Additional activities at Lake Avalon include bounce houses and a DJ. Concessions will be available for purchase from Village Shops’ restaurants, including TKO Libations’ new American Cream Ale for $5. Eight of the area’s favorite food trucks will be onsite including Chef Cassy’s Creations, The Butcher’s Son and many more. The fireworks display will begin at dusk.
