The Castle Hills Village Shops is transforming into “Every Little Honky Tonk Bar” for one night only with George Strait tribute artist Derek Spence and his band performing for the 2019 Castle Hills Concert Series.
His one-of-a-kind show will re-create a George Strait concert from the ‘80s and ‘90s, with Spence mimicking the look, sound and mannerisms of the popular singer with performances of his greatest hits like “Amarillo by Morning,” “Ocean Front Property, “ I Cross my Heart,” and “The Chair.”
Fun activities for the younger ones include face painters, balloon artists, bounce houses, an inflatable obstacle course, a petting zoo, Tana Banana shows and a Western-themed photo booth. Concessions will be available for purchase throughout the event, including Freebirds, Smokin J’s BBQ and ice cold craft beer from local brewery TKO Libations.
