
CBD Provisions is launching family-style Sunday Supper Classics, served Sunday nights starting July 5 through August 2. Each week features a different three-course menu, including an appetizer, entrée, and dessert (no substitutions).
For example, one Sunday start with the Charred Romaine Caesar Salad with smoked tomatoes, croutons, and aged gouda; then enjoy an entrée of Gulf Fish Fry with sweet pepper hush puppies, tartar sauce, and braised okra; for dessert, it’s a Coconut Layer Cake. Another Sunday Supper features an appetizer of Tomato Salad with smoked yogurt, pickled shallots, basil, and crispy pig skin; Braised Berkshire Pork Shoulder with pork fat rice pilaf, roasted summer vegetables, and a peach-mustard glaze; and Buttermilk Panna Cotta with sweet cornbread and blackberry jam.
For the perfect pairing, CBD also offers 50 percent off all bottles of wine on Sundays during dinner service from 5-9 pm in the bar or dining room. Enjoy a Pinot Noir, Soter, North Valley, 2012, from Willamette Valley, Oregon for $40 (regularly $80), or a Pinot Gris, Gustave Lorentz, Reserve, 2010, from Alsace, France for $23.50 (regularly $47).
