Cedars Neighborhood Association presents Cedars Open Studios Tour

At Cedars Open Studios Tour, visitors can explore the homes, studios, and workspaces of over 100 Cedars artists from 10 am-6 pm, followed by a closing party at Four Corners Brewing Co.

Guest can experience live demos, view works in progress, and learn about the creative process from renowned artists such as Albert Scherbarth, RickMaxwell, and Joshua King, plus the many new and up-and-coming artists who call this eclectic neighborhood home.

They can also explore the growing number of galleries, including Ro2 Art and Janette Kennedy Gallery, and learn more about artist residencies and programs offered at Southside on Lamar, Cedars Art House, and The Cedars Union.

There will be free performances and activities throughout the tour, including live music, painting demos, printmaking, and virtual welding. There will also be a free photography workshop from the experts at Dallas Heritage Village.

Free transportation, provided by Efrogs Dallas and Brew Bird Bus, makes touring the studios quick and easy, or join Bike Friendly Cedars for a pedal-powered tour. Shuttle service will also be provided to/from The Stewpot, The Museum of Street Culture, and Encore Park Dallas, where guests can check out their innovative programs using diverse forms of art, education, and new ideas to activate social change and build community.

Wrap up the evening with a special closing party at Four Corners Brewing Co., featuring a video installation by Carmen Menza, an aerial performance by Brandi Cooling, and live music by Adam and the Figurines.
