CentralTrak presents another experimental music event for the CentralSounds series. Sticks is a concert of improvisations by two small ensembles, featuring composer Christian Wolff’s work entitled Sticks.
The Denton-based Ex Muse Trio, consisting of Jolene Masone on amplified bassoon, Colton Lytle on percussion and Chaz Underriner on electric guitar and radio, will play an improvisation set that explores the overlapping characteristics of their diverse instruments. Also performing is the Dallas-based duo of violist-composer Joshua Westerman and multi-instrumentalist-composer Ryan Fellhauer.
