Seven-string guitar master Charlie Hunter has been playing with drummer Scott Amendola since the 1990s, when they were two-thirds of the acclaimed jam-band-meets-jazz Charlie Hunter Trio. The two just released Pucker, a lean and sinewy session marked by fierce grooves, caressing melodies, and startlingly intuitive interplay.The Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, a jazz trio from Tulsa, Oklahoma, will be the opening act.
