Chip Taylor, the country/rock pioneer who penned such classics as “Wild Thing” and “Angel of the Morning,” will perform a free concert at Levitt Pavilion. Taylor has enjoyed elder statesman stature within the Americana, contemporary folk and singer/songwriter in recent years, and has released nearly an album a year since his return to music in 1995.
