The Lone Star Music Series will feature RCA Nashville recording artist Chris Young. In 2006, Young won the Nashville Star television talent show, which earned him a recording contract. He released his self-titled debut album in 2006 which produced two popular hit songs “Drinkin’ Me Lonely” and “You’re Gonna Love Me.” Young’s second and third albums featured five #1 hits including “Voices,” “Getting You Home (The Black Dress Song),”  “The Man I Want To Be,” “Tomorrow” and “You.” His fourth album, A.M., was released last fall.

The stage for the concert will be situated outdoors, just outside the racing surface, in front of the sun-shaded Courtyard of Champions. The lawn area is standing room only and there is limited patio table seating in the Courtyard. The concert will be free with paid $5 general admission before 8 p.m. and $20 after 8 p.m.
