Toni Martin has partnered with Christopher Martin Gallery to debut her newest exhibition, "Moxie." Signifying character, determination, and nerve, this collection will include two series of works that represents Martin’s balance of beauty and chaos as an artist. Titled "Butterfly Dreams" and "Icon," the two-part collection will make its debut. The artist’s work will be exhibited alongside works by other gallery artists, including Ian Kimmerly, Rob Grad, and Steve Wrube, to create an eclectic showcase.
Inspired by her journey as a self-taught artist, this body of work represents what Martin describes as living in both Beauty and Chaos at the same time, which translated to the dyadic collection of "Moxie." Representing beauty, "Butterfly Dreams" is symbolic of having the strength to handle the beautiful changes of life. The other component of the "Moxie" collection is the "Icon: series, symbolizing chaos. She combines these two series to illustrate the message of mental health, strength, and how colors can impact emotion.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on view through June 30.
