The Garland Labor Day Festival will feature the 72nd annual parade, featuring local bands, sports groups, and colorful floats.  The parade will begin at 9 am at the intersection of Glenbrook Drive and Ave. D, then will head north on Glenbrook toward Main Street. Follow the parade east on Main, and then north on Fifth Street; the parade will continue down Fifth and will end near the Granville Arts Center.

The parade is just one of a trio of events making for a festive day on Garland’s historic downtown square.  It will be followed by the 6th annual Exchange Club Labor Day Classic Car Show, and an Iron Chef-style Kids BBQ Competition for ages 10 -18.

All three of the Garland Labor Day events are sponsored by the Noon Exchange Club.
