Historic Downtown Carrollton will present the 10th annual TEXFest, a celebration of Texas Independence Day. The Texas-sized festival features craft beer, good grub, and local artists performing Texas music. Visitors can ride on a mechanical bull, capture the moment by taking a photo with a live Texas longhorn, or kick back and relax with an afternoon of two-stepping and lawn games.

This year’s headliner is the Dan Johnson Band. They will be joined by The West Texas-based Tejano band, Asalto and Americana singer-songwriter Timothy James. DJ Flexxas will entertain crowds before and between sets with his blend of classic country hits blended with disco, house, and EDM.
