The City of Garland will unveil its fully renovated Downtown Square with a Grand Opening event. The day will be full of festivities, including live music by Robert Miller, The Vintage Yell, The Young Guns, Lucas Plowman, Jimmy Wallace and Friends, and more; food from Garland’s diverse array of restaurants; family-friendly lawn games and activities; a special headlining appearance by Garland native LeAnn Rimes; and a drone light show.
Beyond its grand opening, the new Downtown Square will be home to an array of new restaurant concepts and hangout spots. This includes a large recreational and event lawn, while also featuring a treehouse play area and an urban water feature.
