Cerulean Gallery and poverty-fighting organization CitySquare present Inside Out, an event benefiting budding young artists in underserved communities. Artists Lizzie Bailey (Mixed Media), Robin Hazard (Pastel on Suede), Amy Thoennes (Alcohol Ink & Fire on Glass), and Liana Yarkin (Watercolor on Paper) will be demonstrating their work in real time. Viewers will have the opportunity to peek inside the artists’ world and visually engage in the creative process.
Guests attending Inside Out are encouraged to bring notes created by their children and items like colored paper, stickers, crayons, and markers for a new program at CitySquare called Pen Pals designed to foster friendships through creativity. Kids participating in CitySquare’s summer feeding program will be encouraged to create their own notes to write back.
