Lowell Liebermann is one of America's most frequently performed and recorded composers - a favorite among orchestras and distinguished artists worldwide.

His compositions have been recorded and released by over 40 labels, and his Piano Concerto No. 2, performed by Stephen Hough and the BBC Scottish Symphony, was nominated for a Grammy. He has served as composer-in-residence for many organizations, including the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Sapporo's Pacific Music Festival, and the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, and won the Cliburn's American Composers Invitational in 2001.

He maintains an active performing schedule as pianist and conductor, in such venues as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, London's Wigmore Hall, and the Berlin Philharmonie.
