Chamber Music International presents Jinjoo Cho with Hyun Soo Kim

Chamber Music International will present a violin and piano performance featuring the internationally acclaimed Korean violinist, Jinjoo Cho, and her brilliant accompanist, Hyun Soo Kim.

Born in Seoul, South Korea, Jinjoo moved to United States at the age of 14 to study at the Cleveland Institute of Music, where she eventually received her Bachelors and Masters in Music Performance. Prior to winning the Gold Medal at the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis in 2014, she has taken home first prize at the Bueno Aires International Violin Competition in 2010, 2nd in the Isang Yun International Music Competition, Grand Prize at the Alice Schoenfeld International String Competition, and more. At only the age of 27, Jinjoo recently joined the faculty at prestigious Oberlin Conservatory in September 2015. Pianist Hyun Soo Kim is a sought after collaboration accompanist, performing in regional and international competitions, workshops, masterclass, and recitals. He also completed his Masters from the Cleveland Institute of Music, where he is currently a member of the Collaborative Piano Staff.
