Conduit Gallery will present a solo exhibition of paintings by Robert Jessup: "Paintings 2016-2017." The new small-scale paintings by the Denton artist will encompass the front gallery space of Conduit Gallery.
Throughout his career, Jessup has approached his paintings with an improvisational manipulation of form that would lead the way toward the discovery (or uncovering) of meaningful configurations. In earlier works, those configurations were representational. However, in the last few years, the search for meaningful form has gradually been taking precedent over representational imagery.

Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through July 1.
