The Nasher Sculpture Center will celebrate the final month of summer fun with Cool Thursdays at the Nasher.  Every Thursday in August, visitors enjoy half-price admission with full access to the museum, including special exhibitions Mark Grotjahn Sculpture and Sightings: Bettina Pousttchi (closing August 17).

Children will have a chance to greet Matisse and Picasso, meander amid water fountains and bamboo and experience a drive-thru museum (with no driver’s license required). When it’s refreshment time, the Nasher Cafe by Wolfgang Puck offers a kid-approved menu featuring salads or sandwiches for Mom and grilled cheese or peanut butter for the kids, with a free, super-sized chocolate chip cookie with every entree.
