Council on American Islamic Relations will present "The Divine Beauty," a Muslim art exhibition. The exhibit aims to inspire a generation of American Muslim artists and performers to tell their stories and break stereotypes. CAIR believes in reigniting the beautiful and inspiring art tradition within the Muslim community.

Muslims are one of the most ethnically and culturally diverse communities in America, and that diversity can best be seen through their unique artistic masterpieces, poetry, and craftsmanship.

When the average American pictures Islam and Muslims they may likely see images of terrorism, problems in the middle east, veiled women, and the list goes on. The last image they would have is of vibrant artists and performers using the arts to express truths about their community, religion, and culture. There is a growing and diverse Muslim Art scene in Dallas that is mostly unreported or unknown, even among North Texas Muslims.

This event is open for all to experience local Muslim artists and performers showcasing their passions to the world.
