Council For Life will present the 18th annual Celebrating Life Luncheon. Proceeds from the Celebrating Life Luncheon will benefit 14 agencies on the “frontline” that are actively furthering Council for Life’s mission of empowering women, men and youth to make life-affirming choices.
The speaker will be Grammy-nominated and multiple Dove award-winning singer and songwriter Nicole C. Mullen. Often infusing scripture when writing songs, Mullen poignantly portrays God's unfailing love with sincerity, artistry and vulnerability in her music and speaking engagements worldwide. She will share her personal journey of love, loss, and redemption.
Since 2001, Council for Life has raised more than $7.6 million to fund a multitude of agencies in the Dallas/Fort Worth area working to save lives relating to the complex issues that surround unplanned pregnancies. We have funded 50 life-affirming agencies that benefit pregnancy resource centers, adoption programs for birth mothers and children, residential maternity homes, mentoring and life-skills education, counseling, risk-avoidance education, and targeted media outreach.
The event will be Co-Chaired by Jennie Gilchrist and Lisa Luby Ryan. Honorary Co-Chairs are Anne and Norm Miller (Interstate Batteries) and Jackie and Steve Green (Hobby Lobby and Museum of the Bible).
