Craighead Green Gallery will present three exhibitions of new works: Carolyn Brown: "Cowboy Diaries," Michelle O’Michael: "Karma on Demand," and Toni Swartwout: "Dialogue."
Brown’s "Cowboy Diaries" featurew a series of 14 large, color, framed photographs documenting her study of the Fort Worth Stockyards/
O’Michael’s "Karma on Demand" will include nine free-standing and wall-mounted resin-coated steel sculptures ranging in size from 36 inches to 11 feet in height. O’Michael’s focus, as the title of the show indicates, is about finding peace wherever you are. The pieces are meant to bring a since of calm to the viewer and their environment.
Swarthout's new "Dialogue" series consists of nine mixed media on canvas paintings that comprise strong colors and lines that are borne out of, as the artist calls it, chaos, followed with order.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on view through July 22.
