Craighead Green Gallery will present Carole Pierce: "Horizons." Pierce's paintings continue to explore and celebrate the immense magnificence of unending skies and land that she remembers from her Texas childhood.

Seeing the horizon always brought her feelings of freedom, infinite possibilities, peace, and the expectation of something optimistic and exciting ahead. The title of this body of work suggests open space, beauty, big skies, and the ever-changing atmospheric quality of weather that remains in her consciousness.

Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through November 11.
