Cris Worley Fine Arts will present "Dreamscape," her eighth solo exhibition with Dallas-based artist, Charlotte Smith. "Dreamscape" will include abstract paintings in acrylic on canvas.
Smith’s artistic practice has culminated in 20 years of exploration into pure process-driven abstraction. Over the course of her career, Smith has constantly pushed the physical boundaries of painting, through the arduous building and layering of drips, drops and strokes. Layer upon layer builds and extends across the canvas’ terrain, creating dynamic compositions that engage the eye to move and explore.
In "Dreamscape," Smith explores her materials in a large-scale format, allowing her further opportunity to extend and grow the possibilities of her materials.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on view through November 11.
