The colorful 5K run/walk, which will be co-chaired by local attorneys and long-time supporters Chrissy Williford and Sheria Smith, aims to unite all cancer diagnoses as well as survivors and their caregivers, through a single, awe-inspiring display of color as racers represent their personal cancer color.
Honorary chair will be Kidd Kraddick Morning Show’s Big Al Mack. The event will feature an inspirational flag display representing the various cancer diagnoses North Texans are living with today. The run/walk will follow. All proceeds go toward the free support programs CSCNT provides.
Free food and entertainment in the park follow, featuring goodies from vendors such as In-N-Out Burger, Torchy’s Tacos, and Crisp Salad, and lively music from the band Party Machine. The event is followed by an after-party at the Katy Trail Ice House.
