The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden will launch Summer at the Arboretum in 2015. Under the canopy of the Pecan Grove, the focal point for the festival, will be topiary Flower Houses that create a serene themed village.
There will also be floral displays, activities, discounts and fun for the whole family, including Dollar Days, featuring $1 general garden admission during the entire month of August.
As always, the Arboretum will display a selection of seasonal plantings. During Summer at the Arboretum, the beds will be bursting with ageratum, impatiens, petunias, cleome, begonias, salvia, marigolds, lobelia and zinnias. As the temperatures warm, caladiums, lantana, pride of Barbados, variegated tapioca, elephant ears and coleus will be added to the gardens.
